There is not currently an AAX version of VidDancer, so implementation in Pro Tools is achieved by wrapping VidDancer inside an instance of DDMF Metaplugin effect.

1. Track, New, Instrument Track and name the track 'Route project audio here'
2. In Mix, INSERTS choose multichannel plug-in, Wrapped plug-ins, Metaplugin (stereo)
3. In Metaplugin insert VidDancer in the patchbay and connect the Midi Input, Audio Input and Audio Output
4. VidDancer 'Load' a video
5. VidDancer set 'MIDI Mode: Free Note Input'
6. Track, New, MIDI Track and name it 'MIDI In to VidDancer'
7. In Mix, I/O output select 'Route project here - Metaplugin 1 channel-1' and arm the track for midi input
8. Test notes from your keyboard; VidDancer LEDs should light green; Video playback should respond to notes
9. VidDancer set 'MIDI Mode: Host Sequence'
10. Create a MIDI note sequence in MIDI In
11. Start the host transport; VidDancer LEDs should light green; Video playback should respond to the MIDI sequence
