How to install VidDancer Windows version ======================================== Copy file \Windows\VidDancer.vst3 to folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 How to install VidDancer macOS version ====================================== Run(double click) the .pkg signed installer in folder /macOS The installer puts VidDancer.vst3 in folder Macintosh HD:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 The installer puts the Audio Unit (AU) version VidDancer.component in folder Macintosh HD:/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components How to configure in your DAW ============================ VidDancer is an Effect plug-in that requires MIDI input. It should be configured so that your final project audio passes through it, so the audio can be captured into the final finished video. The setup for routing MIDI to an Effect plug-in will vary between DAWs. There is a set of example template projects, for various DAWs, in folder /Project_Templates There are written configuration instructions, for various DAWs, in folder /HOW_TO_CONFIGURE Audio setup =========== Audio sample rate must be 44100 or 48000 Hz. Audio buffer/block size should be in the range 512 to 1024 samples. Most DAWs default buffer/block size to 512 or 1024. A smaller buffer/block size may produce audio drop-outs on playback of the video soundtrack. A larger buffer/block size will result in exported video with insufficient frame rate (i.e. jerky playback).
