MULab (version 8) does not currently support VST3, so implementation is achieved by wrapping VidDancer inside an instance of DDMF Metaplugin effect.

1. Add Audio Track and name the rack 'Route project audio here'
2. Add Instrument Track, VST, Browse For VST Plug-In..., Metaplugin effect (not MetapluginSynth!)
3. In Metaplugin insert VidDancer in the patchbay and connect the Midi Input, Audio Input and Audio Output
4. VidDancer 'Load' a video
5. VidDancer set 'MIDI Mode: Free Note Input'
6. Rename Metaplugin rack to 'Input to VidDancer'
7. In 'Route project audio here' rack click on MASTER and select 'Input to VidDancer'
8. Test notes from your keyboard; VidDancer LEDs should light green; Video playback should respond to notes
9. VidDancer set 'MIDI Mode: Host Sequence'
10. Create a MIDI note sequence in 'Input to VidDancer'
11. Start the host transport; VidDancer LEDs should light green; Video playback should respond to the MIDI sequence
